The company conducts in-house testing for some agrochemicals and collaborates with specialized third-party laboratories for others. Young Living faces unique challenges in testing due to the variability of natural ingredients. They continuously strive for improved analysis methods, utilizing in-house and third-party laboratories as needed. Testing conducted at third-party laboratories include active ingredients (vitamins), agrochemicals, phthalates, preservative efficacy, and skin sensitivity (also known as repeated-insult patch testing, or RIPT).
