Futhark (or Fuþark) is the collective name for the runic alphabets used by Germanic peoples from the 2nd to the 15th century.

The name is an acronym formed from the phonetic values of the first six runes: F-U-Þ-A-R-K (where 'Þ' represents the 'th' sound). The system evolved over centuries to accommodate changing languages and regional dialects.

This specific collection is Elder Futhark (c. 150–800 AD): The oldest form, consisting of 24 (sometimes 25, with an empty rune that represents the unknowable) runes. It was used across Northern and Central Europe for Proto-Germanic and Proto-Norse.

All crystals are cleansed before shipping.
